But after a few reloads, and starting the game with at least one of the mod settings on, it started working for me

Nevermind... I have managed to get it to work with unlimited health and move speed twice, but never the other mod options.

I've tried airplane mode, turning the mods on as the game initially loads, once save file is loaded, while save file loads (how I got health to work). - no idea what the trick is here...
