Checked by myself
The mod force closes on my own phone and doesn't ask for any permissions, however, on my ldplayer 9 instance it did ask for permissions and works just fine.
I will add a note that it may only works on Emulators or certain devices.

How make it run and give permission:

>Install App Manager from Fdroid
>App Manager>settings>Mode of operation> wireless debugging
>System Settings>Developer option>USB, Wireless USB debugging on and pair the app
>App Manager> Search Home>User Permission> turn on 2 write permission
And we are done!!!
