There's always risk. Even doing story there is potential for being ban. I rushed through the story on a second account and got banned. First account I did trials or something and got banned so it really doesnt seem it matters

Yeah. As much as I loved this game after working my way through so much of it probably 5 different times and limiting the use of the mod as much as possible I inevitably had my account suspended each time.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news especially because this game is so much fun, but there is no known way to use this and not be banned.

Hopefully that saves you and anyone with the same question the same strife and effort and time I wasted on starting over and over testing what the ban triggers are.
