Like, I download official > play till I can Register the acc, on modded apk I port data from legit and it says "account 0 is banned"

The legit account is not banned, since the name is different, it just seems that it can't go through on start.

I'll test something else, but seems weird to me that even reseting data & cache / reinstall doesn't fix the issue

Not via Google. And it seems that it's not possible via habbi account as well. See some post above where someone tested it.
Can't answer about rooted phone. There was some discussion about this in this thread.

Did you tried the login via habbi ID by yourself? Because someone tested it before and it was not working for him.

Maybe there is a general problem with linking an existing account to another device. Even with the legit apk. I'm running out of devices. Can somebody check this?
