I did exactly the same thing as the tutorial until I paused the video and repeated the process, but the mod still doesn't work ... all teleportation and light options working 100% only to show the killer's name without working ... looking at the comments, it seems to me that I'm not the only one with the mod not working

yes, it automatically reconnects right? I did the same thing on tutorial. It's not turning red brother.
