Did you turned on root in the device settings?
It happened to me on Nova emulator and when i turned root off in device settings, it worked (not sure if it would worked on modified LD player tho)

i tried turning off root permission like you suggested, it still stuck at a white screen.
maybe i'll try it on another emulator out of curiousity. thank you

somewhat same with me, i turned off the "boot root" on Nox emulator to hide my root, and for around 2 to 3 days, it is fine, but only today i found that issue
