I had this issue too, took me a couple of trys on my xiaomi phone but it works now perfectly even after phone restart it stays activated. Tipp: disable internet acces - Settings - Apps - Vocalizer - Connections disable or in Settings - Connections. (The Apo otherwise pings for license verification wich may causes the crash.)
