Here we go again. Once more, we find ourselves dealing with your subpar app testing Neon. Another strike for you as a low-quality tester. Nevertheless, let's get straight to the point and clarify the facts:
The premium feature regarding the custom DNS servers is not working. Regardless of the DNS settings you apply, the app itself reroutes your internet queries to alternative servers, such as Google's. This is a critical issue that needs to be addressed and said to users dear Neon, especially given its impact on privacy.
Anyway, based on my multiple tests, you can opt for the "VPNify DNS" feature which relies on AdGuard DNS (you can verify it by doing an extensive DNS leak test). It serves as a decent ad blocking DNS with minimal logging, which might be of interest to you.
Regarding VPNify's privacy policy: while they claim not to store any data and do have a warrant canary, there is no proof of an independent audit (unlike Mullvad or Proton). They utilize the standard M247 Europe servers, which are deployed globally and are used by many major VPN providers.
Overall, without independent audits the claim of "no data storage" appears to be a marketing strategy rather than the truth. But if you are simply using a browser for legal activities like reading news or watching videos, it might still be a viable option
