I sincerely apologise to everyone experiencing bugs. This is an older game that I have restored, and I’m still working to fix and restore certain functionalities. Most features are functional, and the game remains fully playable.

If you encounter any issues, please report them through our Discord bug-report channel or submit a support ticket. I aim to fix reported bugs within 24 hours, and support tickets are handled as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and continued support!

I understand. This is more of a restoration of an old game than a private server, I wasn't sure if there was a section for it so I just made a thread here. Apologies for the misleading information
It's a private server still, I will agree with that. And you've made enough modifications to make it not just a 1:1 rerelease of the original with full-price microtransactions, even if A$5,000 is still a lot of money to need to spend to max out VIP. A lot of people on this platform want private servers to be fully unlimited and free, or at most have a small subscription on Patreon or otherwise for extra benefits, even if that doesn't pay the costs of running a server when so many of the other cheats/mods on this platform are free or almost free to host on other sites. This may be an incorrect definition, but to me if you are hosting code for a game that may or may not exist anymore, regardless of any modifications to the game's code, presence on public platforms, or any monetization involved in it, you are hosting a private server.

A lot of people have been spoiled by private servers such as Yuuki for Genshin Impact or by the dozens of charitable Chinese servers that have come and gone that offer massive benefits and little to no monetization, but the shameful truth is that game servers need a constant flow of resources and money to stay afloat, and 24/7 private servers like most mobile game servers need even more money... which is admittedly why most of the servers that have stayed afloat for long spans of time, years and such, have monetization that costs large amounts of money. Whether that's muRPG's Ultimate membership ($100/mo or ~$1,000 lifetime), Ryzen's bundles (where most things cost at least a couple dollars unless you buy massive bulk, which... at that point you're already committing to spending hundreds), or Rufian MU's cash shop where you can spend hundreds on premium costumes, monetization that offers a large enough value proposition to merit the effort of using third-parties to download and purchase things is ultimately what keeps servers alive for years to come.

I agree with this take. I think there's a balance between monetisation and F2P, which is something I've tried to achieve with my own server. I've heavily modified the game and its rewards to support F2P players, ensuring every new unit has a way to be obtained without hitting a paywall that stops progression

For example, when I saw players grinding through the entire story mode and running out of resources, I expanded it and adjusted the rewards within the same day to give them more ways to progress. I put a lot of work into this project, and I believe monetisation is fair as long as F2P players can still enjoy the game and make meaningful progress. People can disagree with the prices, but the people investing their time and money into keeping these games alive need a sustainable way to do so
