Whelp, looks like im screwed. HP triggered literally while I was playing. I saw it in the event tab and closed the game immediately, but I fear it's too late. I noticed before I closed that the tab that takes you to the pvp screen with the other players was locked with a little padlock icon and said something like "unavailable" or something, can't remember the exact word but something along those lines. Does that mean that I didn't get sorted into a group because I was already playing when it started?

House Pride is a little safer than full marks because you don't get put in a group until you reach a certain point threshold (in this case, 1 point). As long as you never gain a point, you should be able to keep playing during the event.

Phew. That's good to hear. I didnt see anything on reddit about the upcoming event so it caught me off guard. Looks like I ought to check here for warnings before playing. We need our own subreddit

Me too, all i got is the notification that collect stars event has finished, so i came to collect energy, but when i check the event tab there is House Pride event starting

The notification have been pretty unreliable for me even with everything checked in the settings. It only notifies me sometimes and seemingly at random and at the wrong time.

How about spending the energy to story progress? You can spend a lot of energy there and can level up to match the high amount of attributes you gained. Then for books, you can convert them to pages, and you can spend the pages on chocolate frog cards. That way you can let of so many resources. I don't know if JC can check with the resources. It's just to be on the safe side.

Then for books, you can convert them to pages, and you can spend the pages on chocolate frog cards. That way you can let of so many resources. I don't know if JC can check with the resources. It's just to be on the safe side.

I actually did do this. I eventually managed to whittle down my 700,000+ coins by buying chocolate frog cards. Then I spent even longer spending my 60,000+ pages on chocolate frog cards. Then when I was done I still had to convert my 12,000+ books into 210,000+ more pages to spend.

I'm not really sure if this was even necessary but I didn't want to take any chances. Considering its 150 pages for a chocolate frog you can imagine how long that took. Actually surprisingly not that long. Just very boring and repetitive that I can hardly even remember doing it.

I've now gotten rid of every type of resource except for my 43,000+ energy reserves and my 8,000+ creature food. Creature food is more difficult to get rid of but I'm sure that will go down in time. As for energy, I'm trying to complete all Y3 TLSQs before moving on to Y4 which means I have to wait for these stupid 24 hour timers which is stopping me from plowing through and using the energy reserves quickly. But it will eventually get whittled down over time.

This was potentially a huge waste of time because I don't know if JC can even check for high resources and if they can I don't know if getting rid of it will save me if I get caught up in a pvp event from logging in by mistake. Either way, it sets my mind at ease knowing that I've done all I can.

Spending the resources won't help if your account gets reported. Only thing you can do is ensure you don't get reported in the first place by not getting placed in a multiplayer event.

I have 2 accounts in year 7 and not been banned. Can confirm that everything you listed is safe. In addition, I've used game guardian (memory editior) to edit attributes, friendship levels, magizoology, pages/books etc... as well as timers (such as the 24 hour wait between TLSQs).

As far as I can tell, there are no "auto-bannable" things in the game that are possible with only this modded .apk installed. The worst that can happen is that the game will crash with an error, which can happen if you use the no gem cost during certain events. So long as you avoid Full Marks and House Pride, and don't contact support from your account, you should be safe.

As for converting pages in the library, I don't think that will get you auto-banned despite what some people speculate. It might be possible that converting large quantities will get you flagged (same as having high amounts of energy), and that the people who got banned were people who logged on during full marks or house pride.

It's also true that having higher quantities than possible can get you banned after a manual check (i.e after a report in a group event). For example. if you've been playing the game for 2 months and have 40000 pages, obviously JC will know that you have cheated. This also applies to other things in the game, such as how fast you have progressed through the main story. Some people who have played for 2 years+ are still only in year 5 for example, while someone with the modded .apk can reach year 7 in a month or two. Again, these aren't "auto-bannable", but will show up if your account ever gets a manual check.

The only thing to regret is an inability to skip the house pride and full marks events in-game due to the risks, 'cause such a request to JC would raise suspicion.
