Now on 14.20 it became worse than before:
When switching to the official game, the progress isn't restored (and the opposite).
This is true whether you use Internet or use a backup app.
And it will probably yet again be banned anyway after a few days...
Seems these issues are on all mods, too, which if it's all true, it means all mods to this game are now over and dead...

@GNaFF According to what I see, it seems the game saves (and maybe sometimes forgets) the progress per app-signature.
What's needed is to have the mod stop this behavior, and save it to just one app-signature, of the original one.

Sadly it won't help.
The game mod has serious issues:

1. Game mod progress isn't in sync with the real version of the game. I think the game saves the progress per app-signature. Maybe it's related to some new UI changes that don't work well for mods.
2. As soon as there is Internet connection available for the mod, it's marked as banned and you will notice it either in about half an hour or up to 2 weeks. You can notice it in various places that claim there are no Internet, such as "special event" and division tab too.
3. Sometimes the shots don't cause any damage, no matter what you choose in the menu.
