But now I wonder if you guys think it's possible to inject a custom translation to the game. I'd love to play this game in my native language.

You'd be better off modding it but it would be kind of a pain.

You can see all the text if you extract the files yourself/mod it too. Honestly, the dialogue is so boring and pointless [compared to other AC games] that I don't know why you would spend time translating anyway. If you can navigate around the UI without issues, I wouldn't translate myself. I skip all the dialogue.

I'm a translator and the founder of a Pocket Camp community in my country. We are now over 2,300 players, I think it would be interesting for them, especially if I could turn this into a community project. It's difficult to create tutorials because everyone's playing in a different language.

I know how to extract, but I have no idea on how to encrypt back and inject.

does anyone know of a project to reverse engineer the camper card qr codes?
i was hoping to manually add some old friends and characters from the past that couldnt make the jump with such a tool.
sadly i couldnt find such a project so far

if it is due to the artifical android sdk thing (aka you are using a android version thats too new), there is a patched gg with a lower signedsdk which i use for this too.
google "gameguardian lowersigned sdk" and you should find a thread on the gg forum that has a link to the modded apk.
with that i can install it normally (or via adb using "adb install app.apk")

I am using rooted bluestacks on my PC to do it (I move the save from my phone to my PC with Nintendo's save feature,) but yes, you could give someone your save to do it.
