if it is due to the artifical android sdk thing (aka you are using a android version thats too new), there is a patched gg with a lower signedsdk which i use for this too.
google "gameguardian lowersigned sdk" and you should find a thread on the gg forum that has a link to the modded apk.
with that i can install it normally (or via adb using "adb install app.apk")

glad theirs a work around. but gg requires root and the magisk method is to complicated for me/ finding all the files to run it is driving me mad

I tried real hard to get this to work on my own using LDPlayer and GG on my laptop but for some reason after I change the value to ~A8 mov x0, #50000, my leaf tokens still go down like normal after buying something.
Thankfully using a test account because after trying to test the complete tickets, I somehow ended up -15k.
So I guess I will just wait until someone is available to help again because I fear for my main account lol.
ETA: By help, I mean do it for me because I am no longer sober enough to try on my own.

Make sure your memory range is set to Xa and that your selected process is the game. + that root is selected in Ldplayer's settings (settings>other settings>root permission).

Appreciate the check in but all of that was done. Even the root.
The number of tickets changed once, just went down to -15,000 instead of increasing.

Hmm just out of curiosity, I took a look at the GG tutorial and realized I'm out of my depth LOL; I will just have to wait for my savegame to be edited.

@EmanYalpsid, I sent a DM to you and - no rush - but I'm wondering if there's a queue? I've been holding off on playing ACPC so that the savefile uploaded to the Nintendo version is the latest one. Thank you!

And since somebody bragged about their account and posted my info on Discord, that sent a lot of heat to me.
I got flooded with requests in both DMs and Discord. I really do not have the power to reply to every single one of them.

Do I download GG on my phone and run the game while simultaneously running GG so I can make edits? Or do I download GG on my laptop and pull the savefiles to edit there? I can't even get the first step right; I've watched a few tutorials and everyone seems to assume that the person watching knows what is going on (and I don't LOL). Does my laptop need to be rooted or not rooted? What does that even mean? Do I need a virtual space somewhere? I literally don't understand T_T

Yes you need to have a rooted device to have GG running. If you're unable to root your device, you can use a virtual space like Bluestacks on a PC/laptop and root it

GameGuardian work without root here's how the root thing and virtual spaces works explained more simply than I can.
If your laptop is not a potato then I think would be easier for you to use it.
You download ldplayer (could be any other emulator, make sure you're not installing anything but the emulator.) > Setup shouldn't give you much trouble > once ready you need to go into settings, then the "other settings" and give it root permission. > install pocket camp complete in the emulator(drag the .apk file into the emulator), install gg as well, first option in the site should work fine. > run gg > now you can run the game and the gg icon should show over it. > click on the gg icon then select pc. > follow the video's steps.
