Yunana is correct, there is a data check at certain checkpoints (stages) to ensure its not being tampered with. Having that same handshake on every level would require a larger database for them and rebuild to connect and check data with the server after literally each click (stage, shop etc). They might update the server side (back end) in the future if they suspect alot of foul play so keep it clean guys, level up your heroes as much as you can, if you have to idle and wait a few days to be able to pass the server sided levels do that.
