Excuse me.. Has anyone been banned for using the MOD version?

Not to my (admittedly limited) knowledge. The devs can detect if someone's using a modded client, but the only thing that'll happen is that you can't earn Arena Points in PvP. You can still fight in PvP, but you can't go up the ladder (so to speak).
