Regarding your question, I have no idea how that happened.
Because if you are connected to google properly, the data should be saved. Unless the game developer screwed up the data part, which I am not aware.

1. I use your mod from the start and using a guest account.
2. I followed the guide on how to connect my account to google.
3. Rooted my bluestacks, uninstalled the mod game, installed the official one then tried to reinstall the mod back. This causes an error that the game is not found or something.
4. After reinstalling the mod, my game progress under guest account is no longer there.

No, the steps is not right.
What you should have done isntead.

1. Install the game from playstore directly
2. Login with google id
3. Now overwrite it with my apk
4. Open the game
5. Notice google id is binded properly

There's no way to transfer guest id to google id (in mod apk).

I used non-rooted version with Guest only account and i only install it while the game is on, not uninstalled. Been doing for 2 months now and now in Ranking 760 or maybe higher. Wish you luck, bud.
