Hi, I think that if you delete the progress without logging into Facebook it will not affect your progress on Facebook, since it is the progress saved on the device

Unfortunately yes, if you delete the saved progress data on the device it will start over and send you straight to creating a new avatar.
This is when you have the opportunity to install version 5.2.2 and be able to connect to an already created Facebook account.
Unfortunately, it is the only way so far on Android to be able to save progress very well and also be able to play on a different device.

Yeah, that's the other problem that people tend to ignore. This guide only works if you had the foresight to back up your save on Facebook before you started modding. If you've never linked your Facebook before, you're SOL. Hope that device you're playing on doesn't die or become obsolete, because you'll be stuck playing on it from here on out. Otherwise, you'll have to start a brand new save file.

G-bo, if you're reading this, could you please update the OP with a big-ass warning that players should preemptively back up their save file with Facebook before they start modding? This is becoming an increasingly common problem.

If you haven't gotten any TLSQs in over 24 hours, then your queue is empty. Keep playing the game until a new one shows up. If you missed one, Jam City will retrigger it someday - TLSQs get retriggered randomly all the time. Quidditch TLSQs are gone forever if you fail them, though.

The only other way to retrieve your save is to contact Jam City with that player ID in the corner of the loading screen. And since contacting Jam City with a modded account will get you banned, we don't recommend you try it.

You cannot transfer game progress through files, as they said before, you will have to keep your device safe if you want to continue with the progress you want to maintain.
Another way is with the IOS system but that is a separate topic. I recommend that you try, as painful as it may be, to create a new Facebook account or if you already have a better one, and try to log in with that account in the modified game.
You will free yourself from these problems and you will have more security to be able to transfer your progress wherever you want.

This is great. Do I have to reset the timer every time? I cant permanently change it, right?
