As far as I know, nobody got banned for applying to the last preview event. If you're really worried about it, then don't do it - you'll unlock this piece of content later on in the story no matter what happens. This is just a teaser for players who haven't gotten to Beyond yet. If you don't really care about the theoretical risks, then go for it.

i opted in on 2 accs before and nothing happened to them and tis my main+year 6 alt so you should be fine but if you are really worried about ban just dont do it(my main will get this anyway since im in beyond i can opt in with my year 6 one ig)
i used be known as i tried to ask JC to fix their damned problems when we have bad connection to wifi which makes us unable to load game(bad signal crap) and they just told me same shit they would have in FAQ thingy but my main wasn't seen as cheater so they didn't ban me at that moment(but i ended up banned later after someone probably reported my group in FM as i played and cheated energy (but never went insane with points myself but cant tell someone else didn't which resulted in vanilla player contacting support).

probably done a lot of progress before we had whole how to login to fb on mod instructions here shown and doesnt wanna lose said progress(that is how my year 6 alt is unfortunately)

that's depressing cuz u possibly lost so many exclusive spells which are now unavailable to obtain
it is as is i had everything but duelling event spells with me there xD
So far, none, not even the first one released with the journal. Nor have the spells that came before the journal mechanic was released. They used to complete the Crests and were somewhat easy to obtain, but they haven't been added to the Book of Memories yet.
