i opted in on 2 accs before and nothing happened to them and tis my main+year 6 alt so you should be fine but if you are really worried about ban just dont do it(my main will get this anyway since im in beyond i can opt in with my year 6 one ig)

i used be known as i tried to ask JC to fix their damned problems when we have bad connection to wifi which makes us unable to load game(bad signal crap) and they just told me same shit they would have in FAQ thingy but my main wasn't seen as cheater so they didn't ban me at that moment(but i ended up banned later after someone probably reported my group in FM as i played and cheated energy (but never went insane with points myself but cant tell someone else didn't which resulted in vanilla player contacting support).

i just drag new version over old one for updating(but i use emulator)

probably done a lot of progress before we had whole how to login to fb on mod instructions here shown and doesnt wanna lose said progress(that is how my year 6 alt is unfortunately)

So far, none, not even the first one released with the journal. Nor have the spells that came before the journal mechanic was released. They used to complete the Crests and were somewhat easy to obtain, but they haven't been added to the Book of Memories yet.

There must be a dozen spells that can't be obtained (not counting the ones in Memories), and if you didn't get them back then, you won't get them now until JC goes crazy and starts putting all the dueling spells in Memories so we can get them, and I don't think that day will ever come.

No, but the ability to mod completely trivializes story/TLSQ duels. I used Game Guardian to max out my attributes to 120. Since most quest duels aren't scaled, all it takes is a single "throw vial" attack and I win instantly. And even if I hadn't, the quest duels are laughably easy. They have scripted attack patterns that you can abuse to ensure an easy victory.

The Dueling Club, on the other hand, is a well-known scam even for modders. The AI that controls your opponent (yes, it's an AI, you're not fighting other players in real-time) has certain scripts running in the background that gives it an advantage on things like burns, heals, stuns, and bleeds. Your opponent's spell effects will almost always trigger when they attack you. Your spell effects will rarely trigger when you attack your opponent. Even if it's the same spell. It's literally designed to make you lose more frequently so that you spend more time (and coins) trying to win. And the spells you earn from Dueling Events aren't even useful in quest duels. Like I said in the first paragraph - quest duels have scripted attack patterns.

The Dueling Club is an entirely self-serving system. You can completely ignore it (aside from Y7 when you occasionally have to duel for Ministry tasks) and it will make absolutely no difference in your gameplay or story.
