I also can't update. I get the "App Not Installed" error with no further details on why.

@GNaFF Hello! Sorry to bother you! Firstly, thank you tremendously for making and always keeping this mod updated.

Myself and a few others are having issues with this latest update (4.48) failing to install. Do you have any suggestions? I know nothing about the magics behind modding, so your advice is greatly appreciated. :) Thank you again for your time!

nope, i had the same issue you were having so i deleted the previous app and re downloaded... now i cant sign in while using this version

i was able to login with facebook but i had to have the facebook app uninstalled. maybe that'll work for you?

I mentally figured out a workaround for updating while saving progress, but I haven't tried it yet. Plug your phone into a computer and locate the

world.playme.mechat

folder when browsing the file system on your phone using your computer. Move this folder to your computer and uninstall the game from your phone. Install the game again using the APK downloaded from here, then move the folder back to where you found it. I have successfully done this to transfer save data between the version from the Google Play Store and the version from this website. I don't know however if this workaround works for the issue of updating the game.
