On GG's forum(don't know if I can say the name here), there are many players that already do that and has been doing it for almost a month now.

Not everything has been peachy though, there has been bans, but they have been testing until they found out that attack and defense can be modded without being banned. As long as is something achievable in game and not some crazy one hit kill 6 star rathalos lol

After the recent update (wherein they posted news update ingame), gps joystick no longer works. The biome and movement works fine but when farming matts in nodes or in hunt, you get nothing and get stuck in a loop while going in a hunt shows network error and eventually ends the run due to network issues.

Similarly, I can move using the joystick, but when I start hunting monsters, a network error occurs, making it impossible to hunt at all. However, it has been confirmed that hunting can be carried out if the joystick is deactivated after using a paintball.

Thats how it works right after they first patched gps joystick. Basically, to be able to hunt a marked mob, turn off gps and its good

lol it may sound drastic but you're actually not that far from reality.

What I find kinda funny is that Niantic spends so much of their time and money on anti-spoofing instead of actually fixing their game.

I actually do bike rides around my neighborhood every afternoon, if they actually had mining ores/gathering points everywhere, and not only in places of interest, I wouldn't be spoofing anyways.

The game is free so it's ok to take a break until some good samaritans release a mod.

Yep, same here. Buddies and myself decided to bench the game for now. Good thing we didnt spend real money in it yet lol. Although my predictions were right that they were gonna block joystick eventually.
