Good Day!

For those who, like me, had an issue while switching between applications using the "start the game and then switch to fake GPS, and then return to the game" method because they have a Xiaomi phone with MIUI, I want to share the alternative method I found to use fake GPS and prevent the closure or restart of background applications:

1. Make sure the game has turbo videogames enabled and its in list.
2. Start the game.
3. Swipe from the top right to the center with your finger to open the turbo videogames menu.
4. Select the fake GPS application from the recent apps menu.
5. The fake GPS application will now open in a bubble screen, so there's no need to switch between apps, as you can do everything on a single screen. Start fake GPS using your current location.
6. Have fun and remember not to abuse cooldowns or move too fast on the map.

However, I still believe that a serious mod remains necessary to stop avoiding being slaves to external allocations like fake GPS.

I see no difference between version 60.3 and 61.0 fake gps work on both version but wont load biome.

Yeah there's no difference between those versions, FAKE GPS works within the loaded biomes around you on both versions.

I think that's more server sided and not dependant on app version.

My friends and I found a way to play together using gps joystick and teleport to location. Before it worked fine but due to the new update wherein Niantic added no loaded biome leads to nothing, we tested this theory.

1. Open Game
2. Open GPS joystick and input the coords you'd like to go to and hunt together with your friend/s
3. Return to game
4. Turn on off your wifi and get your friend to start a group hunt. It should show as nearby hunters available (depending on how many you guys are)
5. From here, you can keep doing step 4 every after run.

Note that biome will not load at all but you can play together. Basically the leader (friend that gave you coords), should tell you what path to go to so you can just use the map to navigate or be in a call or whatever.

We have been doing this for 3 days now and its perfect for hunting 5* above mobs and farming matts

Can you load the map and hunt monsters wherever you go? I got the old version and verified it, but it only loads the map for a certain range of my actual location. I'm not rooting.

No it doesnt load the biome anymore when you move around beyond your TRUE location. You can just roam around loaded biomes

I am level 44 and got bored ASF unless they add lot of updates new things even with fake gps and unlimited materials/coins or att/def i dont think i would play much at all
