Why is there no option to turn the signed version off and play normally. Theres going to be so many areas of the game we can't even access without being able to shut this off. Like any raid phase except Phase 1, or any future pvp modes. This should be the exact same as the hack for galaxy of heroes, it's the same game code by the same company just reskinned. I'm not trying to be a dick I'm just curious. Yeowang is able to allow for connection to the play store, and individual activation and deactivation of features, what makes this one different?
If you want to play with no mods you can do this and you don't have to be rooted or using something like vmos or vphonegaga but it still won't let you connect to your Google account.
To play normally, just download the original apk and sign it with the test signature. Lucky patcher has this option as well as SAI. Then install over the mod. It takes all the mod options off including mod menu but there's no way will you connect to your Google account this way.
Connecting to your Google account when on rooted phone or inside a VM isn't a problem, you can install the original apk over the top of the modded one and connect to your Google account but as soon as you install the mod over the original apk, there's no chance of still being connected to your account. The game will attempt it once, says no internet connection and reloads your game again putting you in guest mode with no save whatsoever. Even if you had a save before in guest mode it doesn't recognise it. It will just start you from the beginning which is very painful if you've progressed far in this game as everything takes ages to progress whether you use the mod or not.
SWGOH had the option of connecting your Facebook account which works modded but as far as I'm aware I didn't think you could connect to your Google account but haven't played it in a while now. Is this right @G-Bo ッ
Ok awesome I don't NEED Google account access but it's pretty imperative to be able to play without the mod, I wasn't aware I could do this. How do I download the original apk file without deleting the mod and downloading from the store?
There's a few options. Theres Aurora store which is an app where you can download apk's instead of having to go to play store to download your apps and games. If you want to keep it very simple there's a site called apkcombo which is probably the best option. Just search on the package name for the game which is - com.ea.gp.capitalphx or even easier just use this link lol - https://apkcombo.com/the-lord-of-the-rings-heroes/com.ea.gp.capitalphx/download/apk
Choose the APK rather than the xapk as it's easier to sign the APK yourself then. Once downloaded it's just a matter of signing APK before installing it otherwise it won't install if you're not rooted. Not sure if you use lucky patcher or not but you can sign it easy there. Let me know if you don't know how to do this and I will talk you through it. Once it's signed with test signature which is exactly the same as the mod used here just install it. And when you're ready to use the mod again, just install that over the original signed APK. Once you get used to it, you will easily keep swapping them round and it won't be a hassle for you. I do exactly the same for arena sometimes and of course the raids.
