easy. just don't activate them. they aren't automatically active. they are manually activated, so are the in-game plug-ins. What's the issue there? just don't use them. Ain't required to enjoy the game. These mods are only provided for our convenience.

I am unable to romance NPCs. My character is consistently rejected by female NPC despite having max cultivation. Charm is at maximum, and personality traits are Care and Kind, yet many female NPCs still reject my character.

check if the character has faithful trait. if they are. you won't be able to romance them especially if they already had a spouse, killing their spouse won't solve the problem, you have to lower their relationship by talking trash about their spouse to them. There's also the issue if they have glory hound triat, unless you have high reputation and cultivation you won't be able to partner them. You can't also partner them if they're your master. One more reason, if you have romance trait you won't be able to romance outsite the DLC women.
