even the races are server side? that's kinda insane, so it's predetermined on othe server if they'll win regardless of the race cutscene?

The cutscenes are generated using server data yeah.

The server precalculated the results then this translated into animation

why not try to manipulate whats sent to the server? to guarantee races or free retries on races.

by guarantee races i mean during career. make it look to the server that the uma has inflated stats before proceeding. for PVP, this can probably not be done

There are already mods and exploits for Uma Musume, although they only serve to convert white skills into gold ones and to automatically complete runs in 5 minutes. I don't know their origin, but I'd like to find out and buy them.

Yes this guy did this with packet sniffing. All someone has to do is packet sniff the skill IDs for every gold skill, and then send the gold skill data to the server if they have the white version. I don't know if this can be done on mobile APK, but it sure as hell can be done on PC. I also don't know how to inject packets into umamusume, but I'm going to find out.
