Attention. Google Play Services is crashing VMOS, according to 4pda https://4pda.to/forum/index.php?showtopic=961828&st=14040
You can even replicate the crash with official ROM with Google Play Services installed
Unfortunately, I don't know how to fix it. Only way is disable Wi-Fi then disable Google Play Services or download official ROM without it. I'm waiting for the fix from VMOS or the community
You can send feedback to VMOS developers through the app. Go to Profiles > VMOS Pro Feedback. The page will be in chinese but they can handle the cases in english. Click on 我想要 (I want) and describe the issue. The more peoples sending feedback, the better
VMOS Custom ROMs are mainly for non-modded VMOS Pro that allow root access with Xposed, without a VIP account.
Note:
Running VMOS inside an emulator is not supported. VMOS and other VM-based apps are not compatible with emulated environments — this will likely cause the app to freeze or crash.
Instead, please use one of the recommended emulators listed below.

I am not an app developer. My work is limited to modifying VMOS ROMs that are already supported by VMOS. If you require a different Android version, please contact the official VMOS developers.
I am also not an expert in virtual machines (VMs), so I cannot provide support for other VM apps. For assistance, please reach out directly to the respective VM app developers.
Please note: Issues may occur with VMOS ROMs that I cannot resolve. I am not responsible for any malfunctions, including but not limited to bricked ROMs or data loss. Use at your own risk.

Important: 32-bit ROM Compatibility
Phones without native 32-bit (armeabi-v7a) support are not compatible with 32-bit ROMs, as VMOS does not include 32-bit emulation. VMOS automaticaly hides the unsupported ROMs from the Add Device list
To check if your device supports 32-bit:
- Download the AIDA64 app from the Play Store.
- Open the app and go to the CPU section.
- If it says: "arm64-v8a, armeabi-v7a, armeabi", your device supports both 32-bit and 64-bit.
- If it says: "arm64-v8a" only, your device supports 64-bit only and is not compatible with 32-bit ROMs.
Installation:
On Android 12 and above: To be able to see zip files in VMOS app, you need to enable access to all files manually to VMOS. Here's how:
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Scroll down and tap Apps or Applications (depending on your device).
- Tap the Menu icon (three dots in the top-right corner) and select Special App Access or scroll down and tap Special App Access (depending on your device)
- Tap All Files Access or Manage All Files.
- Find the VMOS app you want to give access to and tap on it.
- Toggle Allow All Files Access or enable the permission.
Important: Make sure to store the files on internal memory, not on SD Card because VMOS can't access SD Card. Your downloaded files are usally stored in /storage/emulated/0/download, and make sure the directory and filename does not contain spaces and special symbols, otherwise it will fail to install the rom!
Open VMOS Pro, grant required permissions if asked.
On VMOS 3.0.0 and above: On the Home screen, it's advertising you about Enterprise technical support/cloud VM. Swipe to the right until you see this screen and click on the yellow button to create a local VM for free (See screenshots below)
Click on plus sign
Click on 3 dots
There are 3 options, Rec the VM, Import local ROM and download remote ROM.
- Rec the VM
To restore your backed up ROM or from someone. We do not need to use it right now
- Download remote ROM
Download the ROM directly from remote URL.
Copy and paste one of the direct URLs mentioned above and press Download
After downloading, the file will be named Remote download (number). Click Add to install the ROM
- Import local ROM
Import and install your downloaded ROM. This is recommended way to install custom ROM
Go to the location where the ROM files are stored and select it
The ROM will install and will boot up after that

How to make custom ROM
How to make a custom VMOS ROM for VMOS Pro
You must know the basics of the Android ROM structure, and also be able to manage the files, like editing build.prop, init.rc, copying files from flashable zip manually, etc. I will not explain in depth of it since there are plenty of infomation on XDA forum. Don't worry, you don't need any...
