Sure, in Pokemon Go you still can play with a Phone which is rooted with Magisk when you activate Magisk Hide, in Harry Potter that don't work anymore, so they learn fast

Any spoofing app work for android? Tried almost everything. The downside is I cant downgrade google play service (may be cause the Android OS ver but I too afraid of dowgrade the Android OS to find out, could turn my phone to a brick or worse faulty). There's still that app in google play (Fake GPS Joystick and Routes GO) but that stuff costs money and I dont know if it would work anyway

It will not work because you have a protected Google Service against spoofing guys.
Thats the reason why its needed to downgrade.

Well little side project is building a working gps spoof on an emulator then plugging in textual read outs, test, rebuild possibly release a bot? Doubt i have the required time for all over the work required due to work/university. I'll still continue to research and fiddle with what i do have available at this time.

That's not true, wizards unite still works perfectly fine on magisk rooted phones (source: galaxy note 3 with android 8.1.0 and s8 with android 9, both rooted with magisk 19.3)
GPS Spoofing does not seem to work, but injecting does. Tried on the s8 with EdXposed Framework and injected with xprivacyLua, and also with the Location injector Xposed module, both working.

Ah okay, yeah i came to that with Magisk cuz 2 of our Modders had Magisk hide activated and they can't play.
But they are still protected against System roots.
