Yep. Unless they already accept their fates like Harry's parents, Sirius and Lupin, most souls die with regret. So basically they are sad because they cant stay in world where they were summoned in and one that summoned them cant go with them to their side of world due to being still alive?
So he just doesnt wanna accept after all these years that him being indecisive back then is what sealed arianas fate.Even that. But, this is just my speculation. It doesn't matter whose spell was killing Ariana, that scuffle began because of Dumbly's indecisiveness in the first place. His actions led to Ariana's untimely demise, so yeah knowing the truth won't really help at this point. Dumbly needs to learn to let go, that's the point.
i thought people that die of regret that are magical are turned into ghosts tho?(at least in HP verse).Yep. Unless they already accept their fates like Harry's parents, Sirius and Lupin, most souls die with regret.
Basically that. Imo, Ariana's forgiveness isn't what Dumbly needs, he has to learn to accept the fact and moving on. I kinda forgot at the end of the DH, did Dumbly learn to accept the fact or not, I haven't read the book again since highschool. So he just doesnt wanna accept after all these years that him being indecisive back then is what sealed arianas fate.
They can choose not to. You just don't automatically turn into a ghost even when you have regrets.i thought people that die of regret that are magical are turned into ghosts tho?(at least in HP verse).
So you can choose in between being ghost or dying fr i wonder what was certain ghost teachers reason to remain here(does he regrets something or simply think its his duty to be a teacher of that subject. They can choose not to. For Binns, well, I think his obsession with teaching is what tethered him to the physical world. He is aware he's dead, but Binns is already detached in the first place so he isn't bothered by it.So you can choose in between being ghost or dying fr i wonder what was certain ghost teachers reason to remain here(does he regrets something or simply think its his duty to be a teacher of that subject.
Fair enough but why is he so obsessed and at same time falling asleep half the damn time he teaches somethingFor Binns, well, I think he's obsession with teaching is what tethered him to the physical world. This game has immense potential to be great since it's part of the legendary Harry Potter Universe, but those upper managements become too greedy and like to exploit newer players for cash. It has shown in the gazillions TLSQs in Y3 and the increase of difficulty in its recent years' game mechanics.how I would love a TLSQ about that.
Yea its a shame tbh because i really loved the game in its old days and then they just had to do this to it.This game has immense potential to be great since it's part of the legendary Harry Potter Universe, but those upper managements become too greedy and like to exploit newer players for cash. It has shown in the gazillions TLSQs in Y3 and the increase of difficulty in its recent years' game mechanics.
It's just the game's take on prof. Binns. He likes to just harp on historical events perpetually. Even in his living era, he's already disinterested with everything around him.Fair enough but why is he so obsessed and at same time falling asleep half the damn time he teaches something
So thats just his character in HP universe? It's just the game's take on prof. Binns. He likes to just harp on historical events perpetually. Even in his living era, he's already disinterested with everything around him.
Tbf, I don't remember that Binns likes to fall asleep like in the HPHM. As far as I remember from the book, his only trait is that he is a ghost teacher that likes to drone his students to an inevitable slumber. So thats just his character in HP universe?
so they just made him fall asleep to add other interactions we have with our class(including rowans trying to teach something) for their own sake since we arent seeing much of that class in books/movies beyond the descriptions of binns).Tbf, I don't remember that Binns likes to fall asleep like in HPHM. Yeah, they took creative liberty from the lack of description of Binns in the book.so they just made him fall asleep to add other interactions we have with our class(including rowans trying to teach something) for their own sake since we arent seeing much of that class in books/movies beyond the descriptions of binns).
Never mind I just got my question answered, because apparently chapter tasks DO grant house points, despite the fact that we're not even in Hogwarts anymore. I can only hope that nobody in the group I landed in pitches a fit.So which story quests grant house points once you've reached beyond hogwarts? Like do chapter tasks grant them, or are those safe to do while house pride is going on?
i wish cheaters would be more careful in MP events so that we don't need this much caution as we do rn(and yes beyonds are allowed house points cause they don't want legit players complain they cant be there in house pride 100%Never mind I just got my question answered, because apparently chapter tasks DO grant house points, despite the fact that we're not even in Hogwarts anymore.
