Even that. But, this is just my speculation. It doesn't matter whose spell was killing Ariana, that scuffle began because of Dumbly's indecisiveness in the first place. His actions led to Ariana's untimely demise, so yeah knowing the truth won't really help at this point. Dumbly needs to learn to let go, that's the point.

For Binns, well, I think his obsession with teaching is what tethered him to the physical world. He is aware he's dead, but Binns is already detached in the first place so he isn't bothered by it.

This game has immense potential to be great since it's part of the legendary Harry Potter Universe, but those upper managements become too greedy and like to exploit newer players for cash. It has shown in the gazillions TLSQs in Y3 and the increase of difficulty in its recent years' game mechanics.

Yea its a shame tbh because i really loved the game in its old days and then they just had to do this to it.

It's just the game's take on prof. Binns. He likes to just harp on historical events perpetually. Even in his living era, he's already disinterested with everything around him.

Tbf, I don't remember that Binns likes to fall asleep like in the HPHM. As far as I remember from the book, his only trait is that he is a ghost teacher that likes to drone his students to an inevitable slumber.

so they just made him fall asleep to add other interactions we have with our class(including rowans trying to teach something) for their own sake since we arent seeing much of that class in books/movies beyond the descriptions of binns).

Never mind I just got my question answered, because apparently chapter tasks DO grant house points, despite the fact that we're not even in Hogwarts anymore. I can only hope that nobody in the group I landed in pitches a fit.

i wish cheaters would be more careful in MP events so that we don't need this much caution as we do rn(and yes beyonds are allowed house points cause they don't want legit players complain they cant be there in house pride 100%
