I actually downloaded the game originally from *****s but they haven't updated their game yet so I went to the source they got the game from and it was platinmods so I updated from here but it's not working now suddenly.. Does it have something to do with this? Because it was working perfectly before

It may be because they modify the APK without authorisation to change the credit or something. However, it is more likely to be network-related, so try resetting your network settings and turning off your ad blocker, VPN auto connection, etc. , and reinstall the mod too. As long as it works on my end, there is nothing I can do.
