I open 2 blue bag and just have money no gem.

I have doubled check the APK it is working as expected.
Can you try this -> Restart your device -> Open the game with mods -> Open training bag

For now it's easiest to use Virtual Apps or Emulator. I will also check if I can find something useful, the reason the mod works differently than the video is because the game dev changed something.
