I had the same issue yesterday. Game stopped loading at 2% and after that I had the 'enable to connect to server' error message. I thought it was because my account had been banned or something, so I gave up after a few attempts. Today I was going to uninstall the game, but thought I would try once again to be sure and the game was working fine again, so not sure exactly what happened but if you can't connect or get the connection error message, just wait a few hours then try again.

Will try reinstalling (Had the SIGNED version - linked to Google Play Games - so should be able to continue) and see what happens today :)

Can confirm it IS working again now....BUT after a few minutes of gameplay, it LAGS so much down to a standstill, you have to reboot anyway!!!

Same here...it usually happens after playing a few minutes, but if you close the game and restart, it doesn't happen again anymore, so it's not a big deal

I have the same issue with the latest update. The only solution I've found so far is to clear the cache and game data each time before starting the game because it doesn't happen on the first launch (but just make sure you are connected to google or facebook before deleting the game data's)

That's probably because they have released another update to fix the issues with the previous one, so just wait for @Yeowang to release the updated version :)
